the gambling in macau is under control of STDM,which signed a exclusivity gambling´s contract in 1962.After several prorrogations of this contract, the same finish at the end of 2000.
Now Macau is under chinese control, and the government decided to stop monopoly of STDM.oppening a contest- the gambling in Macau will have three licences to three different companies.
The contest was in last December, and 21 five companies go to the contest (including STDM, MGM Mirage, etc)
The contract with STDM was prorrogated to March 2002,just for decision of choice of the three winners.
In fact all the casinos of STDM use the same chips ( Casino Lisboa, Floating Casino, Jai Alai, Mandarim Oriental, Kam Pek, Hyatt Regency,Kingsway, etc).
My question is about HOTEL CENTRAL-in 1934 the government granted the exclusivity rights of all casino games to Tai Hing Co.This company installed his casino at HOTEL CENTRAL, until the gambling license change to STDM in 1962
