I would always stop by the Wabuska Bar on trips to Yerington.
I remember a couple of old machines and punchboards which
was unusual. The bar was built in 1881 when the Carson and
Colorado railroad dropped off supplies there. Copper was also
mined in the area. I remember the bartender saying the place
was haunted and she planned on bringing in a ghostbuster.
Later on the place was known as Linda’s Wabuska Bar. It looks
like they catered to bikers. It’s been closed for several years.
