I forgot to mention that the new forums will be absolutely bicker-free. I'm not talking about back and forth discussions. You know what I'm talking about. Here's how that will work...

Moderators (yes, plural) will have the ability to delete/hide posts that appear to be more of an attack than polite society should allow. Those involved will be told to take up their war of words using the direct message feature, where they can go back and forth to their heart's content while the rest of us can exist in blissful silence, unaware of the rage and malice taking place behind the scenes.

The site also allows users to email each other with a simple click of the email icon below the username of any post. If you don't want people emailing you, just omit your email address from the email field in your profile (your email is still used as your account ID, but that's stored in another field).

Users who continue to bicker in the discussion areas will be blocked or banned or covered in green goo. We haven't ironed out all of those details just yet.
