I have mentioned this to others, but I think it's time for some changes in the Chip Guide:

I know people have suggested before and I will again: make access to the Chip Guide a membership benefit. I think this single step would greatly increase our membership. I get that education is a required part of our charter, but that can be accomplished without giving away our most valuable asset to the public.

If people don't want to completely wall that off, there are a couple of other softer options:

- for each of the casinos only show maybe the first 10-20 items, then have a 'want to see more? join the CCA' message
- have all the items listed but have the images themselves not show (or be mosaiced out)
