Pretty much mild, a rigged drawing, the rest are old time.

I tried to find an article about the phantom queen on rigged video poker machines where the chip had been altered. If someone got the royal, the queen would display for a fraction of a second and then disappear.

The gaff was the machines wouldn't hit a royal with Max. coins bet.

Then there are class 2 video poker vs class 3, the difference is, class 2 (in short terms) the payout is predetermined, like a slot. No matter what you draw, hold or anything, you will still get the predetermined amount. Example: throw away a flush, you'll get a flush. Class 3 the players decisions do alter the outcome.

A bar game in Wisconsin, will be a class 2 machine, where random/real video poker is not allowed. This reminds me of the disclaimer on slot machines in the casinos, last screen, if you read down to the bottom line. Players selections during the feature have to effect on the outcome. That's not rigged, it's just that when you hit play, the RNG has determined the amount you will win.
