Yes, it was wrong, insensitive, ignorant, and arguably racist.

Yes, we live in 'cancel culture' these days, there is always an opportunity for forgiveness. That starts with sincere apology.

And if that doesn't happen, at the very least, the person (regardless of username, IP address etc - but known to Doug and David Spragg) should be banned from future participation in this forum. There is no place in this hobby and community for such behavior.
