Doug, maybe that's our problem... We do all our talking about chippin' during sober work-day lunches. Maybe over a bottle of Ardbeg we could crack this whole thing!

Seriously though, I'm ALWAYS available to help out the club. We all know its not as simple as saying, "Let's get more new members! Yea!!! And let's get younger people." Its easy to say, much harder to do. The Board takes heat for not following through, but we give nothing to follow. You can't give a broad edict, with no advice on how to get there, and expect results.

Yes, of course we need to increase the membership. We're not idiots. Someone figure out how to do it.

BTW - before anyone makes the suggestion, the answer is not setting up a booth at the FUN show like we did in 1996. Maybe we can come up with some ideas relevant to this century??
