And some of those names were still players at the Vic (VIP floor) and other higher end casinos. I expect that some would have been sons of the original Playboy punters but there were definitely some still playing but with less funds (so some of the managers said).
I expect that most of the ones they walked off with were higher value and will probably never see the light of day but it's still worth hoping as you never know.
I was told a story (by more than 1 person) that one of the Sheikhs won the Playboy £100k plaque and took it away just so he could show it off around the other clubs and to his mates but he did eventually cash it in. Mind you, I was also told that The Sultan of Brunei ended up with it (he also owned 45 Park Lane for a while too I believe) but I don't know how true that is. I know that the Clermont one was sold when Mecca owned the Clermont but I don't know who to.
I hope all is well, take care and thanks for showing the registry. I'm not saying it isn't but it looks more like the sort of list/book that an inspector would have to ID punters, I had at least 6 when I was at the Vic and supplied names many times to other inspectors (and pit bosses/managers) as it was quicker than asking for an ID in many instances as it could take ages. We usually put what their main bet was too as it helped narrow down people with the same name or who looked similar (so a description was often added). Whatever it is, it is still a great piece to have and I doubt many still exist.
