Many years ago there was an auction of 6 or 7 Cuban chips with never before seen colors of fairly common chips. Again, if legit, they would be one of a kind chips.

I remember telling Luis Alvarez there were fakes. Luis couldn’t resist and bought the chips. Luis admitted they were fake. I remember been told that popping off inlays in legit chips and dropping them in other colors was a cottage industry in Cuba.
