I remember the original Montgomery Pass Casino that was
destroyed by fire. They had slot machines that were used
at the Golden Bubble in Gardnerville. Willie Wolfe, who owned
the Mina Club, told me he built the place and also dealt 21
there and kept a .38 under the table. One time a player grabbed
him and pushed him against the wall. Willie fired a shot at him
but missed. It was the only time he used his gun.
