Another interesting little town. I think its real claim to fame is. Probably the cheapest gas prices on I-80 between San Fran. and SLC. I go up to Reno/ Sparks about 2 or 3 times a year and always gas up in Fernley.
Not much in the way of old clubs these days. All the old places are gone Fernley Nugget, Light House, and Sturgeons. I do remember playing BJ with the truckers at the Truck Inn back in the late 80's.
Headed to Sparks this month for a show at the Nugget, I guess I'll be stopping for gas in Fernley.
