There is a great Las Vegas documentary discussing the Nevada Biltmore.
Segragation was rampied in the day, and if I my memory serves me correct the Mayor wanted this place to be closed. I presume thats when it turned to the Shamrock. Why it only lasted two years would be interesting to find out.
