Gold Hill-attn: Walt G.

Gold Hill, just down the road from Virginia City, was part of the Comstock Lode where millions
of dollars in gold and silver was mined in the 1860s. A few years ago mining was resumed
which upset a lot of people because of damage to fragile buildings. The most famous building
there is the still open 1859 Gold Hill Hotel. I used to stop in occasionally for a beer. These PCs
gives you a feeling for the place. Joe Comforte's Cabin in the Sky was located here.
