Buy a chip database and enter your chips now, while you only have a few. Scan front and back into the database. Enter all known history.
I had over 8,000 chips when I bought a database. It took me 9 months to get them all entered. Once I got caught up, it only takes a few minute to keep it current.
I now have over 15,000 chips and can find any one of them with scan and history, in a matter of seconds.
I do not keep chips at home.
3 large safety deposit boxes. They are in racks of 100. The racks are numbered. The data base contains the rack number for each chip. Cost $330 per year.
