The movie stills were for Jo's benefit to show that (maybe) not all French roulette tables had jetons, incidentally, and nothing to do with the chip guide which was not mentioned in the post anywhere.
The one that shows the roulette table are from a film that is from 1964 and was actually filmed inside the casino so it is relevant to HIS post. Le Cercle only had 3 jetons at the time it was filmed so maybe they just wanted to make it look more interesting by using AR chips but still it was something that I thought Jo may find of interest.
As to the other information I supplied, it was to try to help figure out what roulette tables were at Portsmouth. Plus, I had asked somebody with first (and second) hand knowledge which is worth much more than speculation in my opinion so I just thought I'd let people know. I'm sure they are capable of making their own minds up as to whether it is worth taking onboard or not.
I will still be putting the information about the AR chips from Portsmouth up at some stage as the person who will be supplying the photos got them from the GM of the club so they were definitely used there. More information the better as it may help to narrow down certain things and facts are way better than speculation.
