A very simple answer on your question John.
Roulette chips are only used on the American (English) roulette, all French roulettes worked with jetons with a value on them.
That's the big difference and that's why the American roulette killed the French roulette. American roulette is easier for a dealer.
Ask Ron Goudsmit, he leaded the team of Dutch employees that took care of the French roulette because the knowledge was not around in Las Vegas.
Those are or trainingchips or drink tips. My best guess would be trainingchips but in no way roulette.
So if they are on the CG as roulette that should be corrected.
In the picture a trainingchip (jeton) from Holland Casino. The V is a marker used by the dealer to indicate that some was playing "voisins" (neighbours) on a certain number because a French roulette has no racetrack.
