I have lots of fond memories of Gardnerville. Talking with Sharkey
and having his Serbian Christmas buffet was especially memorable
as well as Ray Borda at the French bar. Howdy Herz and I had several
Basque Dinners at the JT and Overland. I remember playing 21 at the
Joyland bar and Golden Bubble and rat-holing chips. The Corner Saloon
was where Sharkeys is and then the Corner Hotel. (compare it with the GB)
