Re: Victoria Training school.

As I have mentioned many times but obviously ignored, there were many Playboy chips still in the Vic training school in the 1990s and more than likely up until the 2000s although I never got the chance to find out exactly what they had. The last person I spoke to (Head of Security) wouldn't tell me much but did say that to his knowledge they hadn't been destroyed so some may actually still be there (although doubtful). Obviously that may have changed now as the training school was closed down but they could well still be in the cupboard.
There have been quite a few Manchester chip hoards appear on the market over the years too so not all companies destroyed chips in the same way that Stakis did.
I know of at least a BJ float's worth that somebody had a few years ago which was where the mustard £25 ones came from.
I also won 100 of the £5s but the person didn't follow through with the sale so there are some out there in significant numbers.
Another Club that didn't destroy all of their old chips is Le Cercle (obviously) so I'd expect that others weren't as diligent either.
Look at the CHC and Crockfords hoards, they weren't destroyed either.
