Yes, I also thought it was fortuitous that the discussion was in progress when you then showed the chip.
As to attributing it to the ship, I don't see why not but with a mention that it is speculative at the moment but it all seems to fit in well enough. Obviously it is up to the chip guide person who deals with that part to decide what is best but I see no reason to put it on the ship and then move it if other information turns up. So, on that note, congratulations for (possibly) filling in an important gap in the Playboy chip history.
