I don’t see a “death” I do see a decrease do to the age
of past members that are now deceased and a lack of
interest in the younger generation to replace them or even
older ones that relate themselves to the Las Vegas we used
to know, that want to collect in remembrance of that time.
That’s why a renaissance of a great gambling experience
is needed in the gaming industry, like beautiful chips and
affordable Hotels, food and star entertainment. To bring back
that type of interest. Of course exposure that some are doing
via Video like YouTube etc. Helps and more to come in other
areas, hopefully our club can get started on that !!!!!!!!!
I’m sure there was a time when people couldn’t even supply
enough chips for the people as the escalated fever of profiting
was very high from what I’ve heard.
So the dynamics have changed a bit also.
I bet coin collecting is seeing the same thing.
Except gold and silver prices climb so just that alone can keep
some still interested. But without that I think interest would be
diminished as well but not dead, just less.
This goes with many other things.
Of course the wealthy keep the high end part of it going.
Like high end chips
Paintings have hit an all time high
Classic cars an all time high
Houses an all time high
Even some high end Coins.
So not dying but yes we are waiting for a pickup
or it will keep fading.
