Here is my Convention Report "By the Numbers"

1. This was my 30th consecutive Convention as a Dealer.
2. I sold and traded a bunch of chips and I also bought a ton of various chips of all kinds !! (See the scans below)
3. I attended the Greg Susong Get Together on Tuesday night at the South Point.
4. I attended the Club Banquet on Wednesday night and saw my good friend Ed Hertel inducted into the CCA Hall of Fame.
5. Unfortunately (long story), I missed the Annual Splash Bar Awards but was glad to see my friend from Buffalo Chuck G. get the Splashy Award - well deserved.
6. I got to see my old friends and fellow collectors and had the opportunity to meet some new collectors.
7. I missed seeing some old friends who had pasted away since the last Convention (Henry Garrett and Tucson Smitty) or were not able to attend the Convention for medical or other reasons.
8. I gambled a bunch and won a little !!
9. I got comped for 8 nights and a bunch of meals at New York New York and the Horseshoe.
10. I had a free airline ticket courtesy of Southwest Airlines.
11. After getting a $300 credit on my Master Card my car rental only cost me $147.00 for 8 days.
12. I had a Chrysler Pacifica from Alamo Rental that was literally brand new (the odometer reading when I picked it up was just 2.9 miles - yes less than 3 miles).
13. I am very happy that my friend from California George D. was able to get out of the hospital quickly and return to the Conveention.
14. I was offered $3500 for a chip I have in my collection and turned the offer down (I have to have some chips in my Collection that are worth more than $3.00 each !!).
14.. I am already looking forward to my 31st CCA Convention next June.
15. I am very Proud to be a Life Member #27 of the CCA.
16. I took Steve P. "ACE" Pledge and I did have an "Absolute Cool Experience".
16. To sum it up - I HAD A "GREAT" TIME AT CONVENTION #30 !!!
