Apart from dragging British people in general into this which, personally, I think was uncalled for, didn't the French and the Spanish help just a tad? History has shown that many factors were in play so it's possibly not the best analogy and I'm sure people could argue (as civilized discussion doesn't really seem to work on here concerning certain topics) all day long about the good/bad things that make us different and on what has happened in the past but is it really worth it? I thought this was all about the good of the club and hobby?
As for being intuitive, hmm, "Orange Marmite Berk" springs to mind which destroys that straight away (for many, anyway) plus it depends on opinions and invariably will have bias both ways so pretty pointless, don't you think?
I have no say or involvement in any of this but just wanted to let you know that your generalised "put-down" and 1783 comment weren't appreciated or needed. I don't wish to participate in any of the negativity and comments as it is none of my business but come on...............
There will always be personality clashes and difference of opinions and yes, some may be more personal than others but maybe it is they that should be addressed and just leave the unnecessary comments out. I'm sure David got your point and I hope you can see mine.
Hopefully you will take this as it is intended and I also hope that you all manage to sort out whatever it is that you want to get sorted although I can't really see that happening in a few instances.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of your weekend.
