situation. The chip collecting hobby and poker community will be just FINE no matter if the CCA exits or not! We detest this bickering as it does not seem like anything is getting accomplished! The members of the board need to conform to a more modern way of doing business and the mostly the younger and some veteran members need to be more civil and respectful to those serving on the board. You will generally catch more bees with honey. Being outspoken and making your point is fine but most of us do not care for a nasty and disrespectful approach. Look at Steve Cutler and Andy Hughes as excellent examples on expressing their opinions candidly but with a high degree of professionalism! Our club has problems and unless both sides come to the decision of uniting for the good of the membership it will eventually disband and dissolve! This is why Cheryl and I have been thinning out much our premium chip collection as we see better opportunities elsewhere. We need to grow up or many will go away! We are seeing that in the form of a declining club membership and much less foot traffic at the convention.

Our strategy is very simple but rock solid! We will follow THUNDER SNOW AND OSCAR AND DAN MADRIGRANO! They have the creative, innovative, financial, intellectual savvy and technological backgrounds to move the chipping and poker community forward in a more modern way! We are lucky and blessed they are willing to give this to us and asking for nothing in return other than getting approval to put some of their ideas out there and watch this club grow and get stronger with all of us new and old being on this wonderful journey and ride.

The likelihood of Cheryl and I returning back to do a club show as dealer is slim unless we see some changes in a positive direction where this club works together with the membership to become stronger and more united and genuinely appears to accomplish some goals to improve the club for all!
