I made the 'spell my name right' comment in my post.

Instead of answering the OP live, I opted to write my reply off-line, as an email to myself. When I finished composing that reply, I then did a copy/paste an posted it as a reply to what I thought was the OP. Later on, I was contacted by a reader asking why I made the 'spell my name right' comment. I told that reader that my name was incorrectly spelled in the OP. But the reader advised that it was spelled correctly. I then reviewed the OP, and sure enough, it was spelled correctly, which could only mean that the OP was either edited or deleted and replaced with a revision.

It turns out that the OP was deleted and a replacement post was made, as a new post since the OP had no replies at that time. It was after that replacement that I then replied to the post, without re-reading it first, as I had no idea the OP was deleted and replaced.
