Someone uses images from the Chip Guide and does not credit the images to the Chip Guide. They are then asked to please take them down or give credit for the images to the Chip Guide (where they got them). If the person refuses or does not respond, the MOGH files a DMCA. That is the 1 and only reason the MOGH would file a DMCA. As far as I know it is the only reason they have ever filed a DMCA.

If the user claims "fair use" and gives an explanation why they think their use falls within the exception, the MOGH would review and consider their reasons before taking any action.
