A Plea From the ChipGuide

The ChipGuide, for the most part, processes information provided by collectors. Information about casinos and the collectible items from casinos. ChipGuide admins do not go searching for information to be added to the ChipGuide. The information is provided to the admins from collectors using the ChipGuide Submission Form and from the UPDATE button. When we get information, it is first verified and then added to the ChipGuide. What does "verified" mean? If a chip is submitted that, for example, only says "Flamingo Club" without a location, we have to verify that the chip is from the location provided by the submitter. The verification is sometimes simple, it may appear in one of the published guides or may be more difficult which usually involves an internet search.

The Plea is, don't complain that information is not on the ChipGuide. Simply, the information is not there because no one submitted the information to the ChipGuide. Instead of complaining, submit the information to the ChipGuide. And be a superstar and with your submission, also provide the information that we can use to verify the submission, a link to a website or a reference to published guide. The Admins are all volunteers, they want to be helpful and process information for you, they certainly don't want complaints. Complaints only serve to turn collectors and admins away from the hobby. The plea is SUBMIT, don't COMPLAIN. We are here to have FUN, complaining is not fun.
