Frank Mantell was arguably the first ever casino chip and token dealer. I met him at a coin show in Las Vegas around 1980, where he had a table selling his casino goods. I had been saving them for years even though I wasn’t even old enough to go into a casino legally, and thought I was the only one in the world doing this. Frank proved me wrong, and nurtured my new hobby for years.
