David,
I am the reason for at least two displays that are currently running. 3 if you count the failed attempt at terrible's in Jean Nevada which would have been our largest exhibit to date. You forget I live in Arizona. You have just as many contacts as I do. Having served on the MoGH board before I became President of the CCA, I have seen the leadership dwindle due to lack of leadership. I declined to be nominated for the chairmanship position before I resigned as I had already been president of the CCA and the SNCCC at the time. Jim Follis is in charge of exhibits and displays. Last I heard we were kicked out of the neon museum because he had some kind of an altercation with the curator of the neon museum. Ask Gregg Fisher for details . Follis particularly is in casinos all the time and can simply use his influence in contacts to get some kind of an arrangement. He particularly hangs out at the Orleans and I'm sure he knows most of the executives there and could get a display situated there. Also, as a President you do have contact with the management as well as Ryan Growney the General Manager of Southpoint so you could use your influence to ask them to get a display in their casino.
Stop trying to pass the buck and get involved yourself
Leadership is needed, not complacency
