Whiskey Pete MacIntyre (1881-1933) was a real person. A chapter in the 1932 book "Liberty's
Last Stand" was about him. His grave was uncovered during construction at Whiskey Pete's
casino. I'm surprised they didn't display him next to the Bonnie and Clyde car. I remember when
there was a gas station before the casino.
