I was at Cindys sisters house in WI this weekend for a memorial to their dead mother and sister. They had about 40 people there so we got a pool going and had 11 takers. We decided that if no one picked the winner then then one who picked the worst placing house got the money. We did a random draw to determine who got to pick first and just after I made my pick I thought that if I was really smart that I should have picked the least likely horse to win since there was a good chance that no one would pick the winner. I was told that there was no way one of the top 11 favorites would not win. Well of course no one picked the winner and my daughter got the prize for the worst place pick.
