Yesterday when I was posting my report on the recent slab sales I noticed something which seemed like an error.

Notice that the Slab says that this chip is From
"The New Frontier"

TCR lists this chip as from "New Frontier"

this may seem like a small difference, but TCR has two different listings for "THE NEW FRONTIER" and "NEW FRONTIER"

According to the TCR "NEW FRONTIER" where this chip is really from closed in 1967. "THE NEW FRONTIER" Opened in 1998 (According to Gene Trimble this name change from the Frontier Hotel occurred at the end of the strike).

The Official US Casino Chip Price Guide also clearly distinguishes between "New Frontier" and "The New Frontier"

The so called Experts at ICG have made a significant error in misattributing this chip making at least a 31 year error. I'm no expert so if I noticed it they should have noticed it as well.
