I spoke with Rich Hanover of Old Poker Chips a year ago. He confirms there was a Pal's Club in New Orleans. Add that to the fact that The Chip Rack pulled Pal's Club from their extensive catalogue AND the decision was made to move them from "Lake Tahoe" to "Unknown" in The Chip Guide.

I think there's not enough evidence that Pal's Club existed in Lake Tahoe and/or had any chips.
