I'm a new member and have been collecting chips for only a few years now. Just really started reading the chip board everyday recently. I can't believe some of the constant negative comments.

I love collecting chips. Without the chip guide and also David Spragg's site (Marlow) I would have never entered this hobby. I learned so much from both. I think the chip guide is great. Thank you all for running this site. And David Spragg's site is great as well. There's so much info. I think I have read every Gene Trimble article that David has posted there. Not being a collector when Gene was alive, I didn't have access to this great stuff when he was writing it.

I now have thousands of chips, that I would have never collected without the Chip Guide and Marlow. It also inspired me to do research on my own on the net about chips (mostly illegals) and I have found out even more about some of these old illegal clubs and the characters that ran them.

So-Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to the Chip Guide and Marlow. Please keep up the great work! I would not have started collecting chips without you!!
