Fellow Collectors,
As announced yesterday I have taken over as the CCA Social Media Chair position and look forward to working with everyone on this new adventure. I am especially excited to work with Brand Smith, Ed Hertel and the rest of the CCA team to try to get the message out about why our club is so great. After 23 years in the military and 6 years of retirement it was time for me help out. As we say in the military sometimes the good idea fairy takes over and you just can't hep it.
Here is just a quick overview of what will be coming.
New Release alerts will be posted to Facebook page. Yesterday and this morning I posted two I saw in the daily updates and will post the pictures and the direct link to the chipguide entry.
I am currently working through the multiple Facebook pages to identify the one that give the club the most control over. Yes there are two main pages but I think we had a break through last night. This is the Facebook Page I will be using until we get a final solution. If we use the other I will transfer all content over.

The CCA is on Pokerchipforum (PCF). Working with the great Admin team at PCF they have created the CCA their own section under Casino Collectable Association called CCA News and Info. (this is just the start so don't worry we will be coming to other forums.)
This is just the start so going forward I will need everyone's help. Here are some of the ideas that we will be working on.
Daily Post that include some of the following topics.
Meet the Volunteers Monday - Spotlight our many Volunteers
Harvester Tuesday - Stories about obtaining Chips
Wacky Wednesday - Highlighting errors and odd chips and other casino items
Throw back Thursday - Stories about Casinos or chip collecting in the early days
Favorite Friday - Members can submit a chip that they love and why it means so much to them.
Lastly, I know the convention is right around the corner so I will be spotlighting all the different dealers prior to the show. This might be a lot of information right away but we are short on time.
