Richard, I agree with your assessment. I think the whole craze regarding LE casino chips was a total determent to the chip hobby. It was primarily driven by greed and individuals pushing casinos into looking to making a " fast buck ". At every chip show I have people offering me boxes full of worthless LE chips. The only exception I can relate to are probably the older Hard Rock Casino chips, at least some of them have held their value. I think the LE phenomena can be compared with the hola-hoop fad of the 1950's.
