In my scanning trips I have also noticed that on some inverted H&C oversized chips the Hat and canes are at different depths into the chip. I have pointed this out to Greg. Although I don't remember which ones were that way the $0.50 Lake of the Torches Lac du Flambeau WI. is a good example. all of the even H&C's are at one depth and the Odd's are at a diferent depth.
