~~~ even with that the fake can be missed as explained by others and, the proof was in Oscar's ARUBA VIDEO where only Charles Kaplan caught and posted that the $1 chips were fake which, it it were not for Charles' post, anyone would have assumed the set Oscar posted was real and... if that video was a for sale ad someone could have easilly bought the chip(s) thinking that they were real... and that is the point being made in the threads following Oscar's video.
We also assume it is only ollectors who buy chips when it can be an aunt or uncle buying a gift or a picker who is aware the stuff sells well on eBay... I see it often when out in the field; I notice someone is buying and try to strike up a conversation and find out they are only buying inventory... What happens when those pickers get burned or worse... Charles had every right to respond as he did along with most everyone else who said what the problem is and in today's world, it doesn't take much for anyone to turn away from anything.
There is work to be done and it s not going to det done by itself.
