Well he came in like a wrecking ball, worked everyone up in a few threads, fueled the dumpster fire and disappeared..... Somewhat typical of the internet.
As for the "requirement" to cite chip guide, we can agree to disagree on that. It's totally voluntary to cite the guide as they don't even own the images. If they want to own the images they should have an agreement that posters have to sign giving ownership. I get the premise of citing to promote the page but human beings are a bit adverse to being "ordered around" by some unidentified individual with a self proclaimed authority.
That's the issues that need be addressed. The fact that the can prove ownership of the images, require a cite and the rude individual representing them. again just my opinion but ya know
