I had the entire AC LE collection at one point.
When Trump Taj Mahal was closing the Trump chips would no longer be redeemable.
Taj Mahal, Trump Marina, Trump Castle and Trump Plaza. (At least that's what I recall)
At the time the LE chips were probably not even getting face value.
I looked at the $25 and $100 chips and said why am i holding on to these.
I was going to lose money if I ever decided to sell them.

This was in October before the election that Trump won and became president.
So I cashed in the $100 chips and most of the $25 chips.

A month later Trump became our president and we know what that did to the value of all his chips.
Too bad for me the Taj had to close their doors and especially 1 month before the election.

Most AC LE collectors that collected all the denominations probably had a complete set at some point.
They were not hard to get the day they were released.
I live in NJ and if I wasn't going to the new release a friend would be going to get them for me.
I wonder how many of the AC LE collectors decided to cash out some their Trump LE chips as well?
The LE market was pretty dead at that point.
