If only you would learn humility! There is nothing wrong with not knowing everything! You don't have to justify everything you claim or write about. Many of us respect your opinion or "educated guess" when it involves chips.

However, YOU are not the ONLY person who knows anything about chips, their history or quantities available. Anytime anyone has anything to say you immediately take it personal and start defending your book and yourself.

If your product is as good as you believe it is it will stand on its own. No need to put down others about what they collect or more importantly what they know that you don't.

It's O.K. James not to know EVERYTHING .

Now let me set the record straight about one fact:

Most if not the vast majority of your "R" ratings and quantities came from the Jerry Wall collection. You may have gotten a small amount of info from talking directly to Jerry but most of your info came from the inventory sheets created by our former club President during the last few years Jerry collected.

Now you can give out all this other nonsense but what I say is true. The most important point is that it doesn't matter who had the info. What is important is that the inventory list coupled with your personal knowledge and discussion with other dealers and customers gave you a base for your "educated guesses". There is nothing wrong with that James. Just don't try to create the impression that what you put down is "gospel". it isn't. In some instances it isn't even close. However, IT IS BETTER than what we had before you started. In that fact is where the importance of what you created can be found.

You don't have to impress anyone. You are who you are. You know a great deal about chips but so do others. Quit defending! Join us in the fight against slabbing. Prove me and others wrong who blame YOU for the introduction of this horrible "thing" into our hobby. Take an active role!!!!!Stand up for our hobby. You want respect? You want admiration? - than lead!!!!!!!Quit wasting your time being insecure about yourself and your book. Get involved in trying to preserve our hobby for future generations. Fight slabbing!!!!!!!!
