Die-cut metal inlay questions.

What was the name of the company who made the wafers for Burt Company and, what country were they located in and did they have a catalog...?

Did they manufacture in pre-WWII?

This is a Celluloid-type, Europen-type "5" jeton that is worn and, though I do not know who the manufacturer was, the style appears in at least one distributor's display from way back when.

...and this is an example of a "5" from Gran Casino San Sebastian, Spain.

Now, the BIG question; did Burt Company or anyone in the US make a clay composition chip with the same type textured metal wafer seen above... and for whom?

None of what I show above should be confused with metal "overlays" such as in Monaco and other European countries..
