No one is saying that we should conform to what others feel is correct.... and, no one (YOU) 
should point out what others feel is correct, wrong.
As it stands right now, our club (hobby) does not have an official language (glossary of terms).
If we are to accept members of our club calling pips: inserts, stripes, water marks and edge spots, we should be able to accept what others (numistmatists) call a chip (token).
