~~~ info of Bauer ordering playing cards and, according to the president of the Panama numismatic association back then, who I introduced USPC to after I sold him the two Panama C&S's and for him to do further research on his book; he told me that USPC actually spent several hours in trying to find information (Panama) and that they had to actually go through all the mounted material looking for labels... and that is when I sent USPC the index of all of Herz' photos which was compiled by Eisenstadt's neighbor -- long before the Herz' book was published... so not sure what records USPC had if it took that long for them to search for chips for Panama... USPC did mention that if that was a playing card, the shape looks like a Bridge deck... Also, when I phoned Allan after the chip find and looked at the copies of Herz' photos (way before the book), Allan said he did not think the JSB chips were from the club.... and then quantities hit eBay and that's when I let Kenny take that bunch and did not bid...
Gene mentions the chips being dealt in the club.
So far no trace of a JSB playing card that I know of...
