This week the South Point starting using a room key without a magnetic strip. It is tap and open the door technology. I am not sure if all the rooms are set up for this yet. I couldn't get any extras. I got it at check out when I asked if they had any event keys and they were real busy with check ins. I was happy to get this one. Espicially since I didn't know anything about it.
