I was mainly having fun with the idea of how they should referred to. I don't think it reaches the threshold of importance of being included in a chip glossary. I was just surprised that some linguist did not already invent a word for that type of communication style.
This is a really small sub-category of chips. Its interesting that you almost never see inlaid chips that have this type of design. If someone knows of an inlaid example feel free to post it in this thread.
