If I buy some (say 10) really cool $1 chips from my friends Heckel and Jeckel for $2 each, and that is a bargan I think (as it's that small casino no one sees chips from very often) and later someone else sees I bought those (and knows what Heckel & Jeckel charge), offers to buy them at face (and we are both on the face value list) am I commeted to take the loss? (Note: I would gladly sell at MY cost for no profit to someone on the list).

If the thousands you save don't come out of my pocket, I have no problem with your arrangement. (GRIN)

If I go to a casino and pay face I have NO problem selling at face and like you said I like to get chips people can use, many chippers have done the same for me and I have tried to reciprocate. I don't even mind giving a few chips away now and then, I just don't want to be commited to it. After all it's a hobby to me, not a business, I'm not looking for profits.
