Interesting thought. I would have to see chips of the same color and values with and without the dollar sign and M to have a chance of believing that.
The Lookout House chips have a dollar sign on the 50 but, not the 100. There are chips from the Avenue, near Newport, that don't have dollar signs. They are regular house chips.
