Not Exactly Wisconsin, yet on the border. Plus reported that Ho-Chunk is building a new casino in Beloit WI. That's right across the border from Rockford.

The Hard Rock - Rockford seems to have been delayed because the two year temporary location ran into some licensing problems:

"The Giovanni’s location is currently undergoing an $8 million renovation, and will hold over 600 slot machines; the Midway Bar sports bar; and the Rock River Bar and Grill restaurant.

In April, the Illinois Gaming Board denied a temporary casino license to Giovanni’s after owner Joseph Castrogiovanni failed to report he had been arrested for shooting at an occupied car in his driveway."

I don't go to Milwaukee, it's the closest but also has some issues with the big city environment. Next closest casino is pleasant, peaceful, and a nice highway drive, to Green Bay. 83 Miles, mostly Interstate.

I'll have to keep track better, as if these are opening in IL and Beloit, that means new chips.
