I am in the antique lighting business and get offered stuff almost everyday. I never set the price. I let the person selling tell me. If they don't know what they want I say when you find out let me know. If I then pay their price they cant come back and say I cheated them. If they are to high I wait till they say what is it worth to you. At least now we have a starting point. I buy chips the same way. Barry
