Does anybody happen to know what the primary poker rooms in Reno were in the early '80's, actually about 1983 or so? And also there was one primary room in Sparks, wondering where that room was. Reno Harrah's was the first public room I ever played, having flown out there to visit a friend, Marijauna Slim, who I immortalized in print. Maybe I should make a chip of him. LOL. "So tight his elbow squeaks when he antes," I mused. Well sort of mused I guess ... amused maybe.

But this is well before the poker explosion and most of the joints didn't have poker. I'm pretty sure the primary one then in Reno was Harrah's ... maybe a few others ... and there was one at least in neighboring Sparks. I have no idea what that one was.
